Job description

Basic Function

Petro-Canada Lubricants Inc. (PCLI), an HF Sinclair company is seeking a Temporary full-time Coodinator, Demand Forecasting for a 12 month contract. Reporting to the Manager Global Inventory Optimization the Inventory Coordinator is responsible for but not limited to:

  • Strategic inventory planning and supporting growth plans in Petro Canada Europe initiatives
  • Optimize processes related to international replenishments
  • Main contact for Sales opportunities/concerns for PCE.
  • Support rest of GIO team members by providing back up and project support
  • Coordinates all PLC inventory changeovers at warehouses around the world
  • Responsible for coordinating the PCE weekly order fulfillment team meeting
Job Duties
  • Strategic planning and supporting growth plans in Petro Canada Europe initiatives which includes but is not limited to:
    • Developing implementation plans while coordinating with all stakeholders for new purchases/blending/packaging in Europe
    • Making sure our systems can support the new business or driving for workarounds to support it
  • Daily operations support includes but not limited to:
    • Main point of contact for GIO for International Sales
    • Providing blending direction and tank assignments for PCE
    • Lead the weekly operational meeting with PCE
    • Monitor drill mud and PCE sales so that plans can be adjusted to meet demands
    • Develop/issue KPIs for Inventory Control and Demand Forecasting

Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion

Experience
  • 5 years of related work experience is required
  • Experience in distribution, sales & production would be an asset
  • Experience with MIMI would be an asset
Education Level
  • Post-Secondary degree or equivalent consistent with position and career development
Required Skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate between operations, distributions and sales to implement strategic inventory decisions
  • Clearly understands the concepts and priorities to make business strategic decisions related to inventory
  • Demonstrated computer literacy especially Excel, Power Point, and Word
  • Innovative and creative
  • C.I. (Continuous Improvement) mindset
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Able to communicate both orally and in written form within area of expertise to all levels of organization

Work Conditions
  • This is an office -based role out of the Mississauga Lubricants Facility at 385 Southdown Road, Mississauga
  • This is a temporary full-time contract for approximately 12 months
