Job description

We are hiring for a Quality Inventory Control Coordinator on a 12-month contract. Flexible to work both locations in Vaughan & Mississauga.

This position will consist of being 70% on the computer-desk in the warehouse & 30% on the warehouse floor. Operations are responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

The role combines analytical inventory reconciliation, physical inventory control, and crossfunctional coordination to support daily operations, special product programs, and customer requirements. Responsibilities Inventory Management & Control Analyze and resolve inventory reconciliation issues across ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, AIMS) Conduct stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory verifications Investigate inventory discrepancies, including quantity, lot, expiry, and system variances Maintain accurate product master files, location data, weights, cube, and volume attributes Oversee product locations, movements, and internal transfers within the warehouse Provide support for daytoday operations Returns, Quality & Compliance Manage return goods, including damaged, expired, or nonconforming products Prepare and process RGA, RA/QA, and customs documentation for returns Place and release product quality holds as required Generate and review expiry, bounce, and integrity reports Inspect returned goods and ensure corrective actions are completed Operational & Customer Support Support stock coordinators and warehouse teams in daily activities Resolve customer order issues related to shipping, inventory availability, or missing data Assist with pandemic or special program product management, including new item creation and order placement Coordinate product inbound, outbound, moves, and invoicing with customers Support consolidation, loading, and verification of regional freight CrossFunctional Collaboration Work closely with: Supply Chain - receipt verification and inventory alignment Accounts Payable - invoice and discrepancy resolution RA/QA & Distribution - investigation of inventory and product issues Customer Service - delivery accuracy and billing consistency Suppliers - maintaining product integrity and compliance Participate in projects and process improvement initiatives
