Overview


We are looking for an experienced SAP Resource Scheduling (RSH) Functional Consultant to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Resource Scheduling within an SAP S/4HANA Service Management environment. The consultant will be responsible for delivering end-to-end scheduling and dispatch solutions that optimize field service operations and ensure seamless integration with Service Management, Plant Maintenance, and HR processes.


Description

  • Gather business requirements and perform fit-gap analysis for SAP Resource Scheduling (RSH).
  • Configure Resource Scheduling including resource pools, qualifications, availability, scheduling rules, and optimizer settings.
  • Integrate Resource Scheduling with SAP S/4HANA Service Management processes such as service orders, contracts, notifications, and technician assignments.
  • Configure technician availability, working hours, and absence management through HR integration.
  • Set up scheduling boards, resource hierarchies, dispatch views, and scheduling strategies.
  • Design and test automated scheduling based on skills, location, travel time, capacity, and working hours.
  • Collaborate with Service Management, PM, HR, and technical teams to ensure end-to-end integration.
  • Support data migration, testing (Unit, SIT, UAT), cutover, and go-live activities.
  • Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot scheduling issues, and optimize scheduling performance.
  • Deliver user training and documentation for planners, dispatchers, and business users.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of SAP functional consulting experience.
  • At least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations in Service Management or Plant Maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience configuring SAP Resource Scheduling (RSH) or SAP Multi-Resource Scheduling (MRS).
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Service Management, including service orders, contracts, notifications, and billing.
  • Experience integrating scheduling with HR time management and technician availability.
  • Knowledge of skill-based scheduling, resource qualifications, territory management, and scheduling optimization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience working in onsite/offshore project environments.
