Job description

Local Intermodal drivers run rail containers from the San Bernardino ramp/terminal to customers within a 250‑mile radius.
This role has consistent home time, no‑touch freight, and a predictable schedule running Friday–Tuesday with 2pm–11pm start times.
Drivers average 10–14 hours days and may work a 6th day for additional income.
Pay & Bonuses:
  • Average yearly pay: $81,000–$87,100

  • Pay rate: $0.52 CPM

  • Sign‑on bonus: $5,000 (see bonus disclaimer)

  • Stop Pay: $55 per stop

  • Drop/Hook Pay: $38 per load

  • Hazmat loads: $30 per load

  • Refrigerated loads: $35 per load

  • Daily rate increases: +$3/day after 1 year; +$3/day annually until max of $36/day

Bonus Disclaimer: First payment after first dispatch. Must not have received a sign‑on bonus in the last 12 months. Must remain active and in the same position to receive a full bonus. Bonus is paused during leave and resumes upon return. 



Requirements
Must have a valid CA CDL A License and at least 3 months of verifiable tractor trailer experience.
Must be able to pass a hair and urine test.
If an SAP driver, you must have completed the SAP program at least 5 years ago.
