Other Available Locations: N/A
Teammates in this position average around $50k-$60k a year.
Bonus Type: This position is eligible for weekly and annual bonuses.
All Nucor teammates qualify for profit sharing.
Annual Profit Sharing Bonus Percentage (5 year average) = 20% of eligible earnings
Compensation for this position BEFORE our bonus structure is $14.85 - $16.71.
Basic Job Functions:
As a Warehouse Packer key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Ensure compliance with all safety rules, regulations, and company guidelines regarding the dispatching and scheduling of transportation needs.
  • Communicate with managers, supervisors, group leaders, and other departments relating to product deliveries and schedules.
  • Coordinate with managers, supervisors, group leaders, and other departments relating to performance for all daily duties.
  • Manage customer delivery requirements to ensure ABCIL products are delivered on time.
  • Facilitate and monitor the use of the Electronic Logging Device and other DOT requirements.
  • Provide additional support throughout the shipping and receiving department.
  • Performs other clerical duties as required in the event of fellow teammate absences.
  • Work under general supervision of Shipping Supervisor, following established procedures.
  • Communicate with supervisors, group leaders, shipping teammates, and other ABCIL teammates as required in performing their daily duties.
  • Fill in where necessary. Assist with coverage in similar administration like positions throughout the office. Performs other related duties as required and directed.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment with minimum supervision
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Experience dealing with carriers and customers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
