Job Title : SAP S/4HANA Preventive Maintenance Lead

Job Summary:

The SAP S/4HANA Preventive Maintenance Lead is responsible for leading the design, transition, implementation, and stabilization of preventive maintenance processes as the organization moves from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. This role serves as the key bridge between Maintenance, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Validation, Supply Chain, and IT to ensure preventive maintenance processes are standardized, compliant, efficient, and fully supported in the future-state ERP environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the transition of preventive maintenance processes from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
  • Define current-state processes, future-state design, and gap analysis.
  • Support fit-gap workshops, testing, cutover, and hypercare activities.
  • Standardize preventive maintenance processes across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP and quality requirements.
  • Lead master data readiness for equipment, task lists, maintenance plans, and related records.
  • Execute testing activities, including user acceptance testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
  • Develop and deliver training materials to support user readiness and adoption.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Maintenance, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Validation, Supply Chain, and IT.
  • Drive continuous improvement and KPI development for preventive maintenance performance.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, business, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of experience in maintenance, SAP PM/EAM, manufacturing operations, or a related environment.
  • Experience working with SAP ECC; familiarity with SAP S/4HANA implementations strongly preferred.
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing environments, preferably medical device.
  • Strong process design, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience in the medical device industry.
  • Working knowledge of GMP, FDA, and ISO requirements.
  • Experience using maintenance KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, schedule compliance, and equipment reliability measures.
