Highly skilled SAP Commerce Cloud Platform Architect that has deep technical expertise in providing solutions and hands-on development and enhancement of SAP Commerce Platform. Provides end to end solutioning and delivery of enhancing the backend capabilities for SAP Commerce Cloud platform. Design custom solutions for SAP Commerce Platform and its integrations with multiple Internal and 3rd party systems, servers and storage. Oversees
and provides consulting for a company's eCommerce Platform strategy which includes platform adoption plans, application design, management. Expert knowledge of SAP Commerce and understanding other eCommerce platforms, Microsoft Office 365, Windows Azure, Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services is desired.
Role Overview:
Highly skilled SAP Commerce Cloud architect to join our eCommerce team on SAP Commerce Cloud Platform. This role is crucial for a key client in the consumer electronics industry, focusing on enhancing their backend capabilities for SAP Commerce Cloud platform. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in providing solutions
and hands-on development of SAP Commerce. This role demands comprehensive knowledge of SAP Spartacus and SAP Commerce Cloud (version 2211 and above).
Key Responsibilities:
• Platform Architecture:
o Lead the architecture and design of the SAP Commerce Cloud platform, ensuring alignment with the client's business objectives and technical requirements.
o Develop and implement architecture strategies that leverage SAP Commerce Cloud
• Integration Strategy:
o Ensure seamless integration across systems, focusing on data flow, security, and process automation.
• Technical Solutions & Code Quality:
o Set and enforce coding standards, code quality, ensuring that all development work meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
o Develop and provide solutions, conducting regular code reviews and mentoring developers.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
o Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
o Provide expert-level consultation on solutions leveraging SAP Commerce platform capability and designing customization and advising on best practices, potential risks, of future enhancements.
Mandatory Qualifications:
• Architect experience for at least 10 years with proven ability in design and implement high-level multichannel eCommerce architecture, leading cross-functional teams to successful project completion.
• Experience in mid to large B2C Hybris eCommerce sites with strong background in integrating SAP Commerce Cloud with third-party systems, having led 5-7 integration projects.
• Experience in developing with Java Enterprise and web technologies.
• Expert in Hybris architecture, systems integration and development, package implementation with knowledge of multiple technologies and interactive design.
• Strong background in e-commerce with ability to create data models necessary for Hybris projects, including products, catalogs, storefronts, customers, orders, cart, SOLR design, setup and tuning, API and more
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to understand the business requirements and convert them into Hybri s technical requirements
• SAP Commerce Architect certification is a plus
Salary Range: $120,000-$150,000 a year
