Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP & Joule Solution Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of modern SAP cloud solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Joule, SAP Build Code, and SAP integration technologies.
This role will be responsible for defining solution architecture, developing custom applications and extensions, designing integration patterns, and leveraging AI-powered capabilities through Joule to accelerate business innovation. The ideal candidate combines strong architecture skills with hands-on development experience and a deep understanding of SAP's clean-core strategy. The role aligns with SAP BTP architecture, application extension, integration, and Joule-enabled development capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture
Design scalable, secure, and maintainable cloud-native solutions aligned with SAP Clean Core principles.
Provide technical leadership across SAP Build Code, SAP Integration Suite, SAP AI services, and Joule-enabled solutions.
Establish architecture standards, development patterns, and governance for custom applications and integrations.
SAP Build Code Development
Lead development of custom applications using SAP Build Code.
Design and develop:
SAP Fiori applications
Business extensions
Custom services and APIs
BTP-based enterprise applications
Guide developers in application lifecycle management, DevOps, CI/CD, and transport management.
Utilize Joule Copilot capabilities to accelerate development and improve productivity.
Joule & AI Solutions
Design and implement Joule-enabled business solutions.
Develop custom Joule skills and business-specific AI interactions.
Architect AI-powered workflows and automation scenarios.
Integrate Joule with SAP applications, enterprise data, and external systems.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify use cases for AI-driven productivity and automation.
Integration Architecture
Design and implement enterprise integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite. Build API-led integration architectures connecting SAP S/4HANA with other applications
Define event-driven and service-oriented integration patterns.
Establish API governance, monitoring, and security standards.
Technical Leadership
Lead architecture reviews and design workshops.

Required Qualifications
Experience
8+ years of SAP solution design and development experience.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required.
Location: Hybrid - resource should be located within commuting distance of Montvale, Dallas, or Chicago.
