Job description

Sanitation Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure baking center equipment, facilities, and ingredients are clean, sanitized, and sterile according to O&H Danish Bakery safety, product, and quality standards.
  • Assist Supervisor in training and development, performance management, and ensuring quality and production standards of the Sanitation team and baking center.
  • Ensure SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures) for all processes / equipment.
  • Ensure that all workers on sanitation teams are trained and adhere to the company's GMPs. This includes supporting the training and onboarding of new employees.
  • Ensure that all workers on sanitation teams are trained and adhere to the company's HACCP and other food safety procedures.
  • Provide knowledge of chemical mixes and MSDS and oversee team member's use of chemicals and proper safety procedures.
  • Proactively identify sanitation inconsistencies and work towards resolution.
  • Support and assist with employee relations issues and disciplinary action.
  • Other duties as assigned
