Sanico is a leading wholesale distributor of janitorial supplies & professional cleaning equipment servicing Upstate New York and Northeast Pennsylvania. Our goal is to find solutions for our customers We are looking for a driving pro to join our growing Sanico Syracuse team as a non-CDL Truck Driver

JOB DESCRIPTION

Sanico truck drivers play an essential role in our distribution chain. They are the final customer touchpoint in the order cycle. They make sure the right box gets to the right customer at the right time, and do it in a COURTEOUS, PROFESSIONAL manner. Professional delivery service is central to Sanico’s business model of adding value and saving time for our customers.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the driver will deliver orders to Sanico customers on a daily basis. They will work collaboratively with the warehouse team to ensure quality and accuracy during the truck loading process.    

Job qualifications:

  • Active DOT Medical card REQUIRED
  • Active, clean driver’s license REQUIRED (NYS Lens Program)
  • Straight truck driving experience REQUIRED
  • Physical job requirements include:
    • independent manual lifting of freight up to 60 lbs.
    • frequent climbing in/out of the delivery truck
    • able to maneuver loads up and down stairs, ramps at delivery locations 
    • exposure to weather conditions as the season dictates

Job Type:       Mon-Fri, FULL-TIME, benefit-eligible
Hours:            730a-400p (hrs can vary based on number of stops, traffic, weather)
Wage Range: $19 - $21/hour
