Join a growing team in Syracuse, NY (Lyncourt) as a Chemical Production Technician, where you’ll play a key role in manufacturing industrial chemical products for customers in the recycling, paving, and trucking industries. This entry-level, part-time position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in chemical production—no prior experience required. You’ll receive comprehensive on-the-job training and work closely with experienced technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. Responsibilities
  • Measure, mix, and combine raw materials and ingredients according to established formulas and safety procedures to produce industrial chemical products
  • Monitor inventory levels for raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods to maintain adequate stock
  • Place orders for materials and supplies using company software and email systems
  • Track production output and update inventory records accurately and promptly
  • Follow all safety protocols, including the use of company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production and storage area
  • Communicate with suppliers and internal teams regarding order status, delivery timelines, and inventory needs
  • Perform quality checks on raw materials and finished products as needed
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills, including comfort with email and inventory/ordering software
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with production work
  • Willingness to wear required PPE (gloves, goggles, respirators, etc.) as needed
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in chemical production, manufacturing, or a related industrial setting is a plus, but not required
Compensation

$20–$30 per hour, depending on experience.
