An exciting new dining experience is coming to Ponte Vedra Inn & Club! We are looking for friendly, energetic, and service-focused Attendants to join the opening team at the new Sandpiper Café.
Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is one of Northeast Florida's premier luxury resorts, known for exceptional hospitality and memorable dining experiences. People are our greatest asset, and this is a unique opportunity to help launch a brand-new venue and create an experience our members and guests will love.

What You'll Do
As a Sandpiper Café Attendant, you will help create a welcoming dining experience while ensuring the café remains clean, organized, stocked, and ready to serve our members and guests.
Responsibilities include:
  • Help prepare the new Sandpiper Café for a successful opening.
  • Welcome members and guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverage items according to established quality and presentation standards.
  • Assist members and guests with menu selections and answer questions about available offerings.
  • Accurately operate the point-of-sale system and process member and guest transactions.
  • Follow proper cash-handling procedures.
  • Complete opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities.
  • Stock and replenish food, beverages, supplies, displays, and service stations.
  • Bus tables and maintain clean, organized, and welcoming dining areas.
  • Ensure the café and service areas remain clean and guest-ready throughout each shift.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
  • Attend pre-shift meetings covering daily specials, promotions, assignments, and operational updates.
  • Report safety concerns and help maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work closely with Culinary and Food & Beverage team members to ensure efficient service.
  • Support coworkers and complete additional duties assigned by management.

What We're Looking For
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with members, guests, and fellow team members.

Experience
  • Previous restaurant, café, deli, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Point-of-sale experience preferred.
  • Luxury hospitality, private club, or resort experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience helping open a new venue is a plus but not required.
  • Training will be provided for qualified candidates.

Knowledge and Skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, positive attitude with a commitment to exceptional hospitality.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
