Job Title: Small Parts Patch & Polish Technician
Classification: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Small Parts Supervisor
Job Description: Checks and fills hulls after the grinding process to ensure water tightness. Install side and bottom sound-dampening material and apply a thick coat of paint to the bilge area where required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and correct imperfections in the gel coat.
- Gel Coat and repair are required.
- Use orbital sander, buffer, die grinder, polishing compounds, etc.
- Keep the work area clean and orderly.
- Work with a team to complete daily tasks
Follow instructions of the Manager/Supervisor/lead.
Must comply with all OSHA and safety procedures.
Flexible work hours.
Crosstrain within the department
