The ideal candidate will be a team player with prior experience in automotive painting and repair, preferably in a dealership setting. Compensation & Schedule:
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Starting pay: $25-$35 per hour

Responsibilities:
  • Mix paint to match manufacture’s specifications
  • Prepare surfaces for new paint application using manual and power sanding tools
  • Refinish damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with dealership quality specifications and time standards
  • Remove rust from metal, grease, and dirt from work surfaces
  • Paint surface using sprayer or brush as appropriate
  • Maintain tools and keep equipment clean and in safe working order
  • Maintain and wear all safety and protective wear
  • Comply with laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners and other hazardous materials
  • Cooperate and assist other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of professional painting experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must have your own tools
  • Ability to accurately color match and mix paint, preferably using Sherwin-Williams paint 
  • Experience preparing vehicles and equipment for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming
  • Ability to safely work from ladders and scaffolding
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
