The Levy Group of Companies is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators to work at our Levy NYS Mill Services location in Blytheville, AR.
The Hot Work Heavy Equipment Operators perform all functions as it pertains to operating heavy off-road mobile equipment - Specifically a Loader on the Hot side of the Mill.
Applicants MUST have previous Hot Work experience.
Pay: $28/hr - $34/hr
Shift: 4 on/4 off; 12-hour shifts rotating from Day to Night weekly

Responsibilities
The Heavy Equipmetn Operator/Pot Carrier Driver will:
  • Operate various heavy mobile equipment such as: Water Trucks, 988K Front End Loaders, Excavators, 777 Haul Trucks, D8/9 Dozers, Pot Haulers, & Sennebogen Cranes
  • Comply with all safety regulations, policies and record keeping
  • Pick up and transports pot filled with molten slag to designated locations
  • Dump molten slag and excess material into various dumping stations
  • Maintain work area to allow safe movement and access
  • Perform daily machine inspection and routine greasing, oiling and fueling
  • Monitor any change in machine performance to identify potential malfunctions & report to the maintenance department
  • Meet customer service expectations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience operating end loader, excavator, dozer, and other specialized mobile equipment
  • A team and safety oriented mentality safety-oriented
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Basic Mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic Equipment Knowledge
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to perform other duties as assigned
