What is Sandata Systems and what do they do?

Sandata Systems is a technology company that provides software solutions for the home care industry, including electronic visit verification (EVV), scheduling, billing, and compliance tools. Their products help home care agencies, payers, and state Medicaid programs manage care delivery, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and improve operational efficiency. To thrive as a Sandata Systems Specialist, you need a solid understanding of healthcare IT, electronic visit verification (EVV) processes, and familiarity with Medicaid or home health operations, often supported by relevant technical or healthcare administration experience. Proficiency in using the Sandata EVV platform, data management tools, and troubleshooting software issues is typically required. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills help specialists support users and resolve complex system challenges. These skills are critical to ensuring compliance, accurate data capture, and smooth operations for agencies relying on Sandata Systems.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals working at Sandata Systems, and how can new hires prepare for them?

Professionals at Sandata Systems often work with complex healthcare technology solutions, which means navigating regulatory requirements and adapting to frequent updates in healthcare policies.
