Job Description – Shakeout / Foundry Laborer (3rd Shift)
Pay: $19.00/hour
Shift: 3rd Shift – 7:00 PM – 3:30 AM
Position Summary

WorkSolved Staffing is hiring motivated and dependable Shakeout / Foundry Labor associates for a busy metal casting operation in the Grand Rapids area. This position is responsible for removing cast parts from molds, cleaning excess sand and debris, and preparing castings for finishing and production processing.
Responsibilities
• Remove castings from molds during shakeout process
• Clean sand and debris from metal castings
• Operate vibration or shakeout equipment safely
• Assist with grinding, chipping, and material cleanup as needed
• Move and stage castings throughout production area
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Maintain production pace and quality standards
• Perform additional foundry labor duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Previous manufacturing or foundry experience preferred
• Ability to work in a hot, dusty, and industrial environment
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Reliable transportation and attendance required
