Join a leading player in the sand mining industry in West Texas! Our commitment to quality and safety distinguishes us in the market. We are currently seeking motivated and skilled operators for two key positions: Scale House Operators and Wash Plant Operators. 
 
Position 1: Scale House Operator
 
Overview:
As a Scale House Operator, you will be responsible for managing the scale house operations, ensuring accurate weighing and recording of truck loads, and providing exceptional customer service.
 
Key Responsibilities:
-Maintain logs of all transactions, customer orders, and inventory levels.
- Interact with truck drivers and logistics personnel, providing clear communication regarding load details and delivery schedules.
- Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to load weights or material shipments.
- Ensure the scale house area is organized and safe for daily operations.
- Operate and maintain the scale house, overseeing all inbound and outbound material transactions.
- Weigh trucks and document accurate weights for loading and unloading activities.
- Utilize computer systems or software to record and track material inventory and shipments.
- Communicate effectively with truck drivers and other onsite personnel to ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct routine inspections of scales and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
 
Position 2: Wash Plant Operator
 
Overview:
As a Wash Plant Operator, you will monitor and operate the wash plant equipment, ensuring the quality and efficiency of sand production.
 
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor wash plant machinery to meet production and quality standards.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
- Maintain logs of all transactions, daily testing, and production levels.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the wash plant area.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and minimize downtime.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
 
Qualifications for Either Position:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in plant operations, preferably in the sand mining or heavy equipment industry.
- Knowledge of MSHA regulations and safety procedures.
- Electrical skills or maintenance experience is a plus.
- Understanding of machinery operation and maintenance is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording and documenting information.
- Strong attention to problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in basic computer skills and data entry.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make sound decisions.

- Must be able to work a three week on one week off rotation schedule. 
- Must be able to provide own transportation to and from facility.
 
Other Duties May Be Assigned:  

·      Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary to meet the operational needs of the plant.
Physical Requirements: 

·      Lifting: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally for equipment handling or maintenance tasks. 
·      Sitting/Standing/Walking: Ability to engage in prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking in both indoor office areas and outdoor environments.  
·      Climbing: Ability to climb stairs or ladders as necessary to access equipment for inspection or maintenance.  
·      Stamina: Must possess the physical endurance to operate machinery for extended periods, including engaging in repetitive motions.  
·      Environmental Tolerance: Ability to work in varying weather conditions and endure noise levels typical of an outdoor plant setting.  
·      Dexterity: Good hand eye coordination and manual dexterity for operating equipment and using computer systems.  
·      Vision: Adequate vision to read scales and monitor equipment functionality.  
·      Communication: Strong communication skills to interact effectively in a busy work environment.
