Job description

Position Summary

Driver will be responsible for responding to clients needs by picking up and dropping off patients at various CareSpot center locations. This individual will have significant exposure to our clients and must present themselves in a professional manner and provide a high level of customer service. Hours for this position will vary and will include weekends. Open availability is a requirement.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pickup of passengers to ensure timely and accurate transportation.

  • May be responsible for vehicle maintenance and presentation.

  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines and procedures to perform the functions of the job.

  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

  • Works under general supervision.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Acts with honesty and integrity in all business transactions, including, but not limited to, employment applications/resumes, patient records, time records, and financial transactions.?

Experience, Skills and Education

Education

  • High School diploma or its equivalent and/or two (2) years of related experience.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a driver in a professional environment preferred.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Strong communication skills

  • Excellent driving record

  • Strong time management skills and adherence to punctuality?

Position primarily involves operations of a motor vehicle and will be regularly exposed to vehicle, traffic, road, and weather conditions while performing essential job functions. Position may be occasionally exposed to extreme heat, cold, and/or temperature fluctuations.
