Job description

Asian American Architects/Engineers Association

LIN Consulting has a Senior Project Manager position opening in our Orange County office. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the areas of traffic engineering design and traffic studies. LIN Consulting specializes in all aspects of traffic, civil, and electrical engineering. The firm has an established reputation for providing engineering services to Caltrans, counties, and cities, as well as to private owners and developers in the Southern California area.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the oversight of engineering staff, business development and proposals, design, project management, schedule and budget control, plan and report production and review and quality control. Specific projects involved may include traffic signal design, lighting system design, worksite traffic control plans, ITS design, traffic analysis and studies, and traffic management plans. Experience with Caltrans PS&E is highly desirable.

Requirements
  • Twelve years of professional engineering experience with two years of supervisory experience in traffic engineering, ITS, and traffic studies
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • California registered P.E. in civil or traffic is required, preferably both
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, Microsoft Office, Synchro, HCS
  • Must have solid technical knowledge and effective communication skills in writing and oral presentation
