    • Description
      Job Summary:
      Perform all lead duties below and ensure all sample orders are shipped and processed timely by the entire Sample Department team by the standards set forth.
      Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
      • Ensure sample orders are processed accurately and shipped by priority of due date by entire team within our allotted time frame of 1-5 days dependent on order type
      • Ensure that all samples being selected by the team are of the highest possible quality and processed with care
      • Perform sample picking, labeling, packing and UPS processing duties as required
      • Establish targets for number of orders / cases processed per hour/day/week for each team member
      • Ensure that any quality related issues that are found, is escalated immediately to the Quality Assurance Department Management team
      • Manage all inventory (shipping and packing materials, supplies and SKU's) to keep sample room fully stocked
      • Process SAP order(s) from the appropriate Sabert location site to ensure SKU's are available when needed
      • Distribute sample orders to the team daily
      • Discuss with team members via daily meeting any issues or outstanding orders from previous day that need to be resolved
      • Respond to and address all email questions and requests that are being sent from any person to the shared sample room email address
      • Ability to work and communicate with internal Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service teams as well as Customers at the highest level
      • Scan and file all previous day shipped orders
      • Communicate any issues that arise which may cause order(s) to be delayed from timely shipping
      • Report any performance or disciplinary issues with any team member to Supervisor and/or Manager
      • Ensure Sample Room and exterior areas related to the Sample Room Department are kept clean, organized, and accessible at all times
      • Ensure everyone in the department is always performing all job duties in a safe manner
      • Perform other duties as required by management
      Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
      • Team player
      • Ability to lead small group with limited on-site supervision
      • Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook experience
      • 3+ years' experience using SAP
      • Organized and able to multi-task at a high level
      • Strong verbal communication skills when dealing with all levels within the business
      • Solid understanding of basic warehouse and shipping processes
      • Ability to lift up-to 30 lbs.
      Required Education and Experience:
      • Minimum of 2 years working in a picking operation or warehouse experience
      • High School Diploma or equivalent
      • Read and write English

      Other:
      Work in accordance with all company policies and procedures regarding employment, safety, quality, product safety and legality, security, and regulatory compliance as applicable
