Job description
Cavalier Logistics is seeking a detail-orientated and organized Fleet Coordinator to oversee daily fleet operations, equipment maintenance, and driver compliance with DOT regulations. The Fleet Coordinator will help ensure fleet efficiency, safety, and cost-effective operation.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor fleet utilization and performance
- Schedule preventative maintenance, repairs and inspection
- Maintain accurate records for registrations, insurance, permits and service history
- Track fuel, mileage, GPS and telematics data
- Preparing reports for IFTA submission
- Ensure compliance with DOT and company safety regulations
- Communicate with vendors and mechanics
- Prepare reports for fleet performance
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Experience in fleet coordination logistics, transportation or dispatch operation
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass a background check
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with fleet management systems such as Samara, JJ Keller
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and fleet safety standards
