Job Summary:
Marvell Technology is a leading provider of semiconductor solutions that power data infrastructure. The Senior Director of Product Line Management will drive product strategy and design wins for silicon photonics products, collaborating with engineering and sales teams to deliver innovative optical interconnect solutions.
Responsibilities:
โข Identify and win new opportunities with existing products by working closely with customers and Marvell sales team
โข Generate product plans and drive life cycle from concept to ramp and beyond
โข Define the strategy and drive a vision and excitement around new product plans
โข Lead product line related business planning including market and technology trends, market sizing (TAM, SAM, SOM), key customers to win, competitive analysis, product positioning, pricing, ramp requirements
โข Present at all levels of the organization including executives
โข Lead cross-functional efforts between engineering and sales to execute on design wins
โข Develop and drive sales funnel
โข Sales and FAE team training on market and product plans
โข Manage key ecosystem and technology alliances for product and solution success
โข Collaborate with corporate marketing on digital marketing, press releases, interviews, social media messaging
Qualifications:
Required:
โข B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related) required, advanced degree preferred.
โข 10+ years of relevant optics and/or semiconductor experience with background in Cloud datacenter and AI architecture
โข Background in high speed optics or silicon photonics
โข Experience in marketing and defining products for Hyperscale / AI customers
โข Proven ability to analyze new market segments and identify new opportunities
โข Background in TAM/SAM analysis, building business cases
โข Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills at all levels, including internal and external executives
โข Cross-functional leadership skills, highly motivated, self-driven
โข Proven ability to work efficiently with Engineering and Sales organizations
