Job Summary:
The purpose of this position is to provide the most consistent organization of the department and meet assigned production goals.
Job Description
Essential Functions
  • Assist in directing the daily activities of employees in assigned department as established and instructed by supervisor/manager.
  • Assist in training to new and other employees as needed.
  • 3. Assist and report productivity of each employee.
  • 4. Provide feedback on clients and transitional employees.
  • 5. Communicate any problems or needs of employees to the supervisor/manager
  • 6. Assist in ensuring production goals are met.
  • 7. Assist in assigning work so as to best utilize each person's skills and prepare them for positions in competitive industry.
  • 8. Providing encouragement and enthusiasm to employees in an effort to increase their production output.
  • 9. Follow emergency and safety procedures as outlined in Goodwill's policies.
  • 10. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • 11. Be knowledgeable of and follow company policies and procedures, as well as legal requirements, at all times.
  • 12. Regular, reliable attendance, as defined in Goodwill's attendance policy.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications
Required Skills:
Education
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Experience in lieu of degree will be considered.

Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills including ability to be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees.
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions for preparing and displaying saleable goods.
  • Able to get along well with others and must be a team player.

Certifications and Licenses
  • Forklift Certification required

Preferred Education / Experience / Knowledge & Skills / Certifications & License:
  • One (1) year of experience in an industrial setting is preferred.
