Job description

Position Description:

The Parts Sales Associate individual is responsible for assisting external and internal customers in finding the right part(s) for their medical equipment systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Part Sales
    • Be knowledgeable about the parts
    • Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion
    • Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
    • Emphasize the features of the parts to highlight how they solve the customers problem
    • Answer questions about the parts
    • Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements
    • Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors (PET CT, MRI, CT and Mobiles)
    • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships
  • Be knowledgeable about part removals off of systems
  • Provide shipping for all parts to and from the external and internal customer
  • Perform sourcing of parts
  • Create sales invoices and P.O.s
  • Assist with CRM idea's for parts platform
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree

Experience

  • Minimum of one years of warehouse and parts experience
  • Knowledge of parts and the industry
  • Experience in Shipping/Receiving

Travel

  • Minimum travel time, if any
  • Valid driver's license and solid driving record for a minimum of five years REQUIRED

Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external customers
  • Ability to work independently and provide timely results
  • Proficient with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Salesforce

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The individual frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The individual is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. The individual must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
