About the role
Le Flâneur, the signature French brasserie at Recess Hotel & Club, is seeking energetic, hospitality-driven Server Assistants to join our team. Inspired by the timeless charm of a French brasserie, Le Flâneur offers a vibrant dining experience rooted in genuine hospitality, exceptional food and beverage, and meaningful guest connections.
As a Server Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the dining room team and ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience. The ideal candidate is attentive, organized, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
What you'll do
  • Support servers in delivering exceptional guest experiences throughout service
  • Assist with food delivery and table maintenance according to restaurant standards
  • Pre-bus and reset tables promptly and efficiently
  • Refill water, bread service, and other guest amenities as directed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dining room, service stations, and guest areas
  • Stock service stations with necessary supplies before, during, and after service
  • Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties
  • Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, bartenders, and culinary team members
  • Help maintain a polished and welcoming dining environment
  • Anticipate guest and team needs and respond proactively
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and service standards
  • Support special events, private dining experiences, and high-volume service periods as needed
