Qualifications:
  • Must have valid Illinois Educator License w/Stipulations (ELS PARA) or Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) registered in DuPage County
  • Previous experience working with children preferred
  • Ability to accept direction and work under the supervision of a classroom teacher
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness in accepting and carrying out varied responsibilities and duties as assigned

Essential Competencies:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and collaborate with teachers and staff.
  • Basic understanding of instructional techniques and classroom management.
  • Dependable, flexible, and capable of adapting to various student needs.

Performance Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and organize appropriate resources for instructional activities.

  • Communicate student progress, challenges, and behavior to the teacher, staff, or administration as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Student Services or Principal.
