Job description

Role Purpose
This role is based in Nashville, TN. Travel to Global Headquarters in Bowling Green, KY required as part of on-boarding.
The e-Commerce Content & Digital Shelf Specialist drives digital shelf excellence across key retail and marketplace channels by ensuring product content, catalog accuracy, launch readiness, and customer experience improvements directly support conversion growth. This role serves as the operational connector between National Account Managers, Marketing, Creative, Product Management, external agencies, and syndication partners to deliver accurate, complete, and timely product experiences across priority retailers including Amazon, Walmart, Target, Kohl's, and other digital channels.
Key Outcomes
Digital Shelf Performance & Conversion Readiness
• Improve product detail page quality by monitoring content accuracy, attribute completeness, imagery, video, ratings, reviews, and conversion readiness across priority retail channels.
• Translate digital shelf insights into clear recommendations that reduce customer experience friction and support measurable conversion improvement.
• Identify content gaps, catalog issues, and retailer-specific requirements early enough to prevent negative impact to consumer experience or sales performance.
Launch Execution & Speed-to-Market
• Lead cross-functional readiness for new product launches, assortment expansions, promotional activations, and retailer-specific content updates.
• Establish launch scorecards, timelines, and readiness checkpoints that shorten cycle time and increase first-time-right execution.
• Remove workflow bottlenecks by aligning internal partners, agencies, and account teams on expectations, ownership, and deadlines.
Content Syndication & Data Governance
• Ensure product data, imagery, video, and enhanced content are accurate, complete, compliant, and successfully syndicated through tools such as Syndigo, Salsify, Bynder, and retailer portals.
• Maintain strong data governance routines that reduce rework, prevent content discrepancies, and support scalable digital shelf workflows.
• Partner with internal and external resources to keep content requirements aligned with changing retailer standards and platform capabilities.
Customer Feedback, Insights & Reporting
• Monitor ratings, reviews, retailer analytics, and digital shelf dashboards to identify recurring customer experience issues and product/content improvement opportunities.
• Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance readouts that highlight risks, wins, recommended actions, and prioritization based on conversion and customer experience metrics.
• Provide actionable insights to Quality, Product Management, Brand, Marketing, and Sales teams to support continuous improvement of the online shopping experience.
Process Improvement & Capability Scaling
• Standardize repeatable workflows, documentation, and best practices that improve efficiency across digital retail channels.
• Scale successful pilots, tools, dashboards, and process improvements into sustainable operating models for broader channel execution.
• Stay current on retailer portals, digital shelf monitoring tools, syndication platforms, and e-commerce operational trends to strengthen team capability.
Competencies
Analytical Thinking & Conversion Focus:
Uses digital shelf data, retailer analytics, and customer feedback to identify friction points and prioritize actions that improve conversion readiness.
Project Management & Execution:
Coordinates multiple launches, updates, and promotional priorities with clear timelines, ownership, and follow-through.
Attention to Detail & Quality Control:
Maintains high standards for product data, imagery, video, attributes, and copy accuracy across retailer platforms.
Cross-Functional Influence:
Builds productive relationships with NAMs, Marketing, Creative, Product Management, agencies, and vendors to drive alignment without direct authority.
Process Improvement & Accountability:
Takes ownership for execution quality, resolves barriers quickly, and continuously improves workflows to reduce rework and increase speed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 2+ years of experience in e-commerce operations, digital shelf management, digital project management, digital merchandising, syndication management, or channel enablement for a multi-channel CPG manufacturer or retailer.
  • Hands-on experience with PIM/DAM, content syndication, or ratings and review platforms such as Syndigo, Salsify, Bynder, or Bazaarvoice.
  • Experience working with retailer or marketplace platforms such as Amazon Vendor Central, Walmart SupplierOne/Item 360, or similar digital retail portals.

Strong analytical, communication, project management, and Excel/dashboard skills with the ability to influence cross-functional partners and translate data into action.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Digital shelf content accuracy and attribute completeness across priority retailers.
  • On-time execution rate for new product launches, PDP updates, assortment expansions, and promotional activations.
  • Reduction in catalog errors, content rework, and retailer compliance issues.
  • Conversion readiness improvement based on digital shelf audits, retailer scorecards, and prioritized optimization actions.
  • Timely delivery and adoption of digital shelf performance readouts, ratings and reviews insights, and recommended action plans.
