Sr. Copywriter

Meyer

Vallejo, CA • On-site

Full-time

Job description

We're looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Sr. Copywriter to own copy across every channel we operate in - and every channel we'll operate in next. This role sits within the Creative department but functions as a cross-functional resource across EComm, Brand, Design, Packaging, and Sales.
The Role
You'll be responsible for all written copy across the brand - PDPs, landing pages, alt image copy, sale promos, packaging, Amazon, and any channel the brand expands into. You're the last editorial eye before copy goes live and the connective thread ensuring consistency across every touchpoint.
This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage copy through complex, multi-stakeholder workflows without losing quality or detail. You'll work primarily in Salsify and Figma, and you're experienced using AI agents to route and disseminate copy across channels at scale - applying automation with editorial judgment, not in place of it.
SEO is a core part of how you think about copy. You understand how to develop and implement SEO strategy at the copy level, and you know how to work cross-functionally with EComm, Sales, and Brand to align on keyword priorities and ensure SEO best practices are reflected consistently across channels.
Responsibilities
  • Write and develop copy across all brand channels and touchpoints, including product detail pages, landing pages, features and benefits, sale promos, alt image copy, packaging, and Amazon.
  • Partner with Brand on voice and direction, EComm on performance and publishing cadence, and Design on copy-to-visual cohesion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop and implement SEO strategy, ensuring copy is optimized consistently across channels.
  • Serve as the final editorial review before copy is published.
  • Maintain brand books to reflect current, live copy standards.
  • Contribute to product launch and relaunch storytelling in partnership with the Creative Director and Brand team.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Proven EComm copywriting experience with a strong portfolio across the digital shelf
  • Exceptional copy editing skills and a consistent command of brand voice
  • Solid understanding of SEO strategy with hands-on experience implementing it at the copy level and partnering cross-functionally to execute
  • Experience working with AI agents and automation tools to manage copy distribution across multi-channel workflows
  • Proficiency in Salsify, Figma, or comparable content management and design systems
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines with precision
  • A collaborative working style - this role interfaces with nearly every team in the organization
