Salon Assistant/Front Desk Assistant - Role Description
The Salon Assistant/Front Desk Assistant is a crucial piece of the superior experience our clients expect at Roosters Men's Grooming Center. This role is also crucial to ensuring the stress on the staff remains low and productivity remains high.
Role Responsibilities include :
• Greet all customers who walk through the door and make them feel welcome
• Work the phone/check voicemail/make callbacks asap
• Utilizing computer software to:
o Book appointments (and process as requests when applicable)
o Check customers in (change status to Servicing when applicable)
o Check customers out via cash or credit card transactions
o Correctly process multi-tickets and apply multi-ticket tips accurately
o Process discounts properly
o Gift card processing
• Assisting staff with shared salon duties such as:
o Keeping towel warmers full
o Helping process towels in laundry
o Keeping all areas of our workplace clean (waiting area, front desk area, water/coffee area, dispensary)
• Cash handling, drawer closing & balancing
