Overview
Summary
Gift of Hope is dedicated to coordinating organ and tissue donation in the northern three-quarters of Illinois and northwest Indiana. Our goal is to provide the highest quality service to families and hospitals as we strive to fulfill our mission of saving and enhancing the lives of as many people as possible through organ and tissue donation.
Through the generosity of those who have said "yes" to donation, Gift of Hope has saved the lives of over 29,000 organ transplant recipients and improved the lives of hundreds of thousands more through tissue donation. Join us in offering hope to the thousands of people waiting for a compassionate donor to give them another chance at life.
Our Salaesforce Analyst is responsible for maintaining Gift of Hope's instance of Salesforce, including integrated applications. Ensures data accuracy, provides user support and successful implementation of new features and functionalities. Responsible for tier-one technical support tickets. Collaborates with leadership and internal stakeholders on Salesforce training, e-marketing strategies. Provides hands-on workflow development and execution of data cleansing and other Salesforce maintenance. Ensures Salesforce is optimized and aligned with strengthening Gift of Hope's reputation and brand and achieving strategic and business goals. Demonstrates excellent understanding of Salesforce best practices, security and user management
This position is hybrid with a minimum of 1 day per week in the office with flexibility needed for additional in office days based on the needs of the organization.
Starting compensation range for this position: $78,814 - $98,517

Responsibilities
Essential Functions
The following essential functions are the basic job duties that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Advance Gift of Hope's mission, vision and core values: providing compassionate service, contributing to outstanding teams and engaging as one of our passionate people committed to a positive culture that respects the dignity and worth of each individual. Adhere to its policies and procedures in carrying out the responsibilities of this position.
  • Serve as Gift of Hope's Salesforce subject matter expert. Provide user support and training for Salesforce users, troubleshoot issues and develop and coordinate activities that support user adoption on an ongoing basis.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communications on materials to be delivered through Marketing Cloud. Build delivery schedules/e-marketing journeys as requested. Ensure communications are consistent, accurate, follow brand standards and are delivered as scheduled.
  • Coordinate with the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to ensure best practice in digital/email marketing and customer relationship management (CRM) use across multiple departments engaged in external e-marketing/communications.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of Salesforce data. Perform regular data cleansing and de-duplication. Run quarterly audits to maintain consistent naming conventions, data integrity and consistency. Develop procedures and enhancements for new workflows.
  • Respond to tier-one service Salesforce tickets, making add moves or changes as needed. Collaborate with Gift of Hope's external Salesforce development vendor on projects as needed.

  • Support and maintain data flows with external databases and tracking tools; monitor and analyze effectiveness of programs; analyze trends; provide regular reports.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective technologies are aligned and leveraged. Identify and maintain third-party add-ons in support of departmental/organizational objectives.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and stay up to date with professional and technical knowledge in CRM best practices including Salesforce's triannual releases. Proactively monitor release updates.
  • Independently manage special projects as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education and Training Required
The following identifies the minimum education and training required to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Salesforce Administration or 3-5 years' experience as a Salesforce System Administrator or Salesforce Administrator certification (preferred).
  • Additional certifications (Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, etc.) are a plus

Experience and Skills Required
The following indicates the minimum skills and experience required to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • 3-5 years' experience developing/building marketing journeys, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience with data management tools
  • Excellent problem-solving; analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent critical thinking and ability to analyze, resolve problems and develop solutions
