Job description

Job Title: Salesforce Technical Architect
Location: Washington, D.C. (Hybrid - On-site 3 days/week)


Overview:
Yudrio is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the design, implementation, and oversight of secure, scalable Salesforce solutions across public sector engagements. This hybrid role, based in Washington, D.C., requires onsite presence three days per week and is ideal for a Salesforce professional with deep technical expertise, security architecture experience, and a strong consulting background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce architecture solutions, ensuring compliance with security, scalability, and integration best practices.
  • Architect and deliver Salesforce solutions across Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and other Salesforce products, focusing on public sector requirements.
  • Develop and implement Salesforce security architecture including Identity and Access Management (IAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), and integration with IDPs like Okta.
  • Support compliance and data protection standards including FedRAMP, GDPR, ATO processes, and government security frameworks.
  • Provide guidance on Salesforce Shield, data encryption, event monitoring, and sensitive data handling techniques.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and cross-functional Agile teams to align architecture with business requirements.
  • Support implementation and integration efforts for Experience Cloud, including external identity management and portal access models.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to technical documentation, sprint planning, and iterative delivery.
  • Mentor development teams and conduct reviews to ensure code quality, security compliance, and architectural alignment.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must be able to pass a federal background investigation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • More than 10 years of Salesforce experience, including configuration, development, and architecture roles.
  • Salesforce System Architect or Salesforce Application Architect certification required (or must be obtained as a condition of hire).
  • Proven experience designing and implementing Salesforce security architecture across 3+ projects, preferably in the public sector.
  • Strong knowledge of identity access management, including Okta, SSO, IDP integration, and portal SSO scenarios.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Shield, including field-level encryption, event monitoring, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Familiarity with FedRAMP, GDPR, ATO, and other public sector/government security requirements.
  • Demonstrated consulting experience on at least 3+ Salesforce projects, preferably for government or regulated industry clients.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies and experience leading or collaborating within Agile teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Certifications in Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, and ideally Public Sector Solutions.
  • Exposure to Omni-Channel, Case Management, Knowledge, or external portals.
  • Experience mentoring technical teams and reviewing complex architectural decisions.
  • Background in regulated environments or federal consulting strongly preferred.
