Job Summary
We are seeking a Salesforce Platform Engineer to design, develop, and implement enterprise Salesforce solutions that support critical business initiatives. This role is responsible for developing custom Salesforce applications, leading technical solution design, mentoring engineering teams, and driving platform modernization using Salesforce best practices. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce development, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations, and enterprise application architecture.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain Salesforce solutions using declarative and programmatic development approaches.
• Develop custom applications using Apex, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Flows, and Platform Events.
• Design and implement REST and SOAP integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Lead technical solution design and provide guidance throughout project implementation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across Salesforce applications.
• Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and recommend improvements to application architecture and development standards.
• Develop technical design documents, architecture documentation, and implementation plans.
• Evaluate Salesforce platform enhancements and new releases to recommend adoption opportunities.
• Build proof-of-concepts (POCs) for new platform capabilities and present technical recommendations.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Program Managers, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and cross-functional teams.
• Mentor developers and provide technical leadership on Salesforce best practices.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with software development lifecycle standards, security policies, and organizational governance requirements.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 6+ years of Salesforce administration and development experience.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise Salesforce solutions.
• Strong experience developing custom applications using Apex, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Flows, and Platform Events.
• Experience developing REST and SOAP integrations.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce administration, configuration, and customization.
• Experience performing upstream and downstream impact analysis across enterprise systems.
• Strong experience writing SOQL, SOSL, SQL, and working with relational databases.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring development teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Salesforce Certified Administrator.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
