Job description

Salesforce Certified Administrator Required
Salesforce Health Cloud Experience Strongly Preferred
Ready to own Salesforce instead of simply maintaining tickets?
Vitra Health is looking for a hands-on Salesforce Administrator to help us strengthen, optimize, and continue developing the technology that supports our employees and the individuals and families we serve across Massachusetts.
This is an opportunity to have meaningful ownership of a Salesforce environment within a growing healthcare organization. You will work directly with business and technology leaders, help improve processes across departments, support Salesforce Health Cloud, strengthen security and data quality, and help turn operational challenges into scalable solutions.
If you are a Salesforce Administrator who enjoys solving problems, improving systems, working directly with users, and seeing the real-world impact of your work, we want to hear from you.
About Vitra Health
Vitra Health is a mission-driven healthcare organization committed to improving the quality of life for individuals and families across Massachusetts.
Through innovative home- and community-based services, Vitra supports aging adults, people with disabilities, and individuals with complex care needs. Supported by nurses, case managers, caregivers, and operational teams, we work to ensure our clients receive compassionate, personalized, and dignified care.
Technology plays an important role in helping our teams provide that care. Salesforce is a critical part of our operational and healthcare technology environment, and we are continuing to strengthen how our teams use it.
The Opportunity
The Salesforce Administrator - Health Cloud will serve as a key administrator and technical resource for Vitra Health's Salesforce CRM/EHR environment.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, security, optimization, user support, documentation, and continuous improvement of Salesforce, including Salesforce Health Cloud functionality.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role. You will partner with department leaders, frontline users, IT, and other stakeholders to understand business needs, resolve issues, improve workflows, support projects, and help ensure Salesforce remains secure, stable, scalable, and easy to use.
Because Salesforce operates as part of Vitra Health's broader technology environment, this position will also participate in enterprise technology support and collaborate with the IT Service Desk when needed.
What You'll Do
Salesforce Administration & Health Cloud
  • Serve as a primary administrator and point of contact for Vitra Health's Salesforce CRM/EHR environment, including Salesforce Health Cloud.
  • Manage users, roles, permissions, permission sets, access, and related Salesforce security controls.
  • Support the configuration and continuous improvement of Salesforce workflows and business processes.
  • Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for automation, simplification, standardization, and improved user experience.
  • Troubleshoot Salesforce issues and work with users to identify root causes rather than simply resolving symptoms.
  • Support Salesforce data quality, integrity, security, and governance.
  • Assist with Salesforce releases, enhancements, testing, implementation, and post-deployment support.
  • Partner with business departments to understand operational requirements and translate them into practical Salesforce solutions.
  • Help leadership anticipate process or technology roadblocks and develop scalable solutions.
  • Create and maintain Salesforce documentation, procedures, configuration documentation, training materials, and support resources.
  • Support employee Salesforce onboarding, offboarding, access changes, and user training.
  • Assist with UAT, release readiness, regression testing, and implementation activities.
  • Monitor recurring support issues and recommend process or configuration improvements.
  • Support integrations and processes involving Salesforce and other business applications.
  • Promote Salesforce security, least-privilege access, appropriate data handling, and healthcare-industry best practices.
Business Partnership & Continuous Improvement
You will not simply administer Salesforce from a queue.
We want someone who is comfortable working directly with the people using the system.
You will:
  • Meet with department leaders and users to understand business challenges.
  • Help translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Identify inefficient or manual processes that can be improved.
  • Provide leadership with recommendations based on recurring issues, user feedback, and system trends.
  • Participate in project planning and implementation across departments.
  • Help improve communication between business teams and technology teams.
  • Train and support employees as new Salesforce capabilities and processes are introduced.
  • Foster a culture of responsive customer service and continuous improvement.
Enterprise Technology Support
Salesforce administration is the primary focus of this role; however, the Administrator will also work collaboratively within Vitra Health's broader IT environment.
Responsibilities may include:
  • Troubleshooting employee technology issues and supporting the IT Service Desk.
  • Ensuring Help Desk requests are documented, monitored, escalated, and followed through to resolution.
  • Identifying recurring technology issues and reporting trends.
  • Supporting employee technology onboarding and offboarding.
  • Providing technical guidance to employees and other technology team members.
  • Supporting Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices.
  • Assisting with device-management platforms such as Microsoft Intune and JAMF.
  • Supporting equipment deployment, maintenance, and replacement.
  • Assisting with print-management needs across Vitra Health locations.
  • Supporting backup, recovery, access-control, security, and business-continuity processes in collaboration with the appropriate IT resources.
  • Serving as a liaison between department leadership, Business Applications, and the IT Service Desk.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Current Salesforce Certified Administrator credential.
  • Hands-on Salesforce administration experience.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, security, users, roles, profiles, permission sets, and access management.
  • Experience troubleshooting Salesforce functionality and user issues.
  • Ability to analyze business processes and translate business requirements into Salesforce solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Ability to independently organize and prioritize competing responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt as business requirements evolve.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Strongly Preferred
  • Salesforce Health Cloud experience.
  • Healthcare-industry Salesforce experience.
  • Experience supporting healthcare CRM/EHR workflows.
  • 3-4 years of Salesforce administration, systems administration, business applications, or related technical experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce Flow and process automation.
  • Experience with Salesforce reporting and dashboards.
  • Experience supporting integrations between Salesforce and external applications.
  • Familiarity with healthcare privacy, security, access-control, and data-governance requirements.
  • Experience participating in Agile, UAT, release-management, or change-management processes.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, JAMF, Windows, macOS, Android, or iOS.
  • Additional Salesforce certifications such as Platform App Builder, Advanced Administrator, Service Cloud Consultant, or related credentials.
Location & Work Environment
This is a full-time, in-person position based in Boston, Massachusetts.
The successful candidate must be able to regularly work from Vitra Health's Boston location and travel to other Vitra Health locations when business needs require it.
