About the Role:

The Salesforce Developer is a customer-focused technical role responsible for developing scalable Salesforce and Fonteva solutions that align customer business objectives with platform capabilities. As a trusted technical expert, the Salesforce Developer translates business and functional requirements into high-quality technical solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and integrations. This role partners closely with Solution Consultants, Solution Architects, Project Managers to deliver simple, secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions that follow Salesforce and Fonteva best practices.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement customer solutions by extending Fonteva capabilities and leveraging Salesforce platform capabilities using Apex, Flows Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, and integrations to meet business requirements ensuring solutions are simple, scalable, secure, and maintainable.
  • Collaborate with Solution Consultants and Solution Architects to analyze business requirements and translate functional designs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Participate in technical design sessions, architecture discussions, and code reviews to ensure high-quality solutions that align with Salesforce and Fonteva best practices.
  • Create and execute unit tests, maintain high code coverage, and support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployments, and production validation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve defects, production issues, and performance bottlenecks across implementations.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including designs, architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and deployment documentation.
  • Support Fonteva upgrades by evaluating release impacts, implementing required enhancements, and ensuring custom solutions remain compatible with Salesforce and Fonteva platform releases.
  • Develop, and maintain reusable components, and accelerators that improve delivery efficiency, consistency, and long-term maintainability.
  • Leverage AI-enabled development tools to improve productivity, accelerate software delivery, and enhance code quality while applying sound engineering judgment.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience delivering enterprise applications.
  • Strong experience developing Salesforce solutions using Apex, Flows, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Triggers, Batch Apex and Platform Events.
  • Experience implementing Salesforce applications across one or more Salesforce Clouds, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud or Marketing Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform, managed packages, governor limits, security model, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, and declarative capabilities.
  • Proficiency in integrating Salesforce with external systems using APIs.
  • Experience using Salesforce DX, Git, and modern Salesforce development tools for source control and package-based development.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing solutions on the Fonteva platform or other managed packages built on Salesforce.
  • Experience with Association Management Systems (AMS), member-based applications, or nonprofit solutions.
  • Experience with LLMs, AI orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph or similar), Python, and implementing AI-powered Salesforce solutions, including Agentforce, is a Strong plus.

Salary Range Disclosure

The base range represents the low and high end of the TogetherWork salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of TogetherWork's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include discretionary bonuses, long term incentives, a flexible paid vacation/personal time policy, 12 weeks paid parental leave and more.
