Salesforce ServiceMax Developer - 6+ months - 100% remote (High Priority)
Note: ServiceMax is an app add on for Salesforce. The candidate must be hands on with ServiceMax for 2+ years and the job is 100% remote.
Job Purpose
A ServiceMax developer that will develop, build, configure, customize, and integrate solutions based on the functional and technical specifications to meet quality and performance requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills both verbally and written. They will work closely within the ServiceMax development team to design, develop and deliver scalable, extensible and sustainable solutions. The scope of work for this individual covers all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Essential Job Functions
Develop, build, configure and unit test solutions from designs documentation
Follow ServiceMax best practices and enforce data quality policies
Ensure that solutions meet requirements outlined in the design documentation
Ensure compliance with security policies through Salesforce/ServiceMax profiles and permission sets
Created new Salesforce/ServiceMax custom objects, assigned fields, designed page layouts, custom tabs and components
Plan and conduct requirements gathering session with the business to collect functional and non-functional requirements relating to client's ServiceMax technology enhancement and initiatives
Configured out of the box, custom reports and Einstein Analytics dashboards
Perform all work to agreed time, cost and quality constraints
Ensure that developed solutions are peer reviewed and formally documented
Oversee that unit test are executed to ensure they meet quality standards
Experience:
Minimum 2+ years' experience in ServiceMax
Total 8+ years of experience in Salesforce technologies
Minimum 3+ years in Agile and DevOps development
Create SFMs, custom objects, workflows, triggers, flows, lightning components, Visualforce Pages, custom integrations, SOQL and SOSL queries and web services.
Design and develop solutions on the Salesforce.com/ServiceMax platform, using Apex programming language.
Work data feeds to and from SAP and other systems and other ETL tools.
In-depth Knowledge of Salesforce/ServiceMax application administration; security models, sharing rules, standard/custom objects, Validation and workflow rules, reports/dashboards, and release management and sandbox environments
Experience with Territory assignment, Role Hierarchy, and Sharing Rules
Experience with Data Loader technologies
In-depth Knowledge of Salesforce technologies such as Service Cloud, Einstein Analytics, Knowledge, and Com
