Location Note: This is a hybrid role located in Wakefield, MA. In-office one day every other week, plus additional inโ€‘person trainings and workshops as needed.

The Purpose of Your Role

The Salesforce Engineer is part of the development team and is responsible for supporting, enhancing, integrating, and extending Sentinelโ€™s business applications, with a primary focus on the Salesforce platform and related custom systems. This role combines Salesforce platform expertise with strong software engineering capabilities across modern application development, integrations, and automation.

The Salesforce Engineer conducts requirements analysis, documents technical specifications, designs and develops scalable solutions, writes and reviews code, debugs issues, and contributes to release processes. This person works on complex technical problems, partners with internal stakeholders, and collaborates with other engineering team members to deliver reliable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

  • Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, Salesforce data model, security model, and integration capabilities
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with JSON and XML data formats
  • Experience with source control and Gearset
  • Familiarity with SQL/SOQL and enterprise data integration concepts
  • Salesforce certifications are a plus
  • Salary Range: $95,000โ€‘$105,000, depending on experience
