Seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to add to our application development/support team.
This person will be responsible for developing new code and supporting existing code

This position will work with stakeholders and the development team to design, develop and support Salesforce and related applications using industry standard practices and tools.
The ideal candidate should be able to work in all tiers of the architecture and have experience with the SalesForce platform and integrations with external systems, as well as experience with transformation from Salesforce Classic to Lightning. They will also have experience in all phases of software development - design, development, unit testing, QA test support and defect remediation specific to Salesforce platform, as well as experience performing Salesforce admin duties.

Responsibilities

The Salesforce developer is responsible for collaborating with the EOE/DESE Organization, Project Managers, Architect, Business Analysts, and Quality Assurance, in the process of creating software deliverables and artifacts.
As a senior member of the team, you must adhere to the organization's methodologies and standards, and propose improvements based on software development best practices.
Perform Lightning Web Component Development and Integration platforms development support (enhancements, bug fixes).
Proficiency in using OmniStudio tools such as OmniScript, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures.
Familiarity with JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) data structures and JavaScript for customizing OmniStudio components.
Participation in efforts including requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, roll out and documentation creation.
Participate in regularly scheduled meetings to discuss current tasks and weekly status reports.

Education

Minimum of a bachelor's degree with a major in computer science or a related field.
Proven record of accomplishment working on large-scale projects with diverse stakeholders and with cross-functional teams.
7+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer with OmniScript and LWC
Handle development of new business requirements using Lightning Web Components, Lightning Flows, OmniScript, Apex Batches and Triggers, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other solutions.
Experience with programming languages such as SOQL, JavaScript, HTML, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and CSS. experience with batch data and real-time stream processing on the Salesforce platform.
Experience with Application Development & Configuration including Lightning App Builder, Flows, Validations rules, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
Deep expertise in developing multistep complex UI pages using the LWC framework and OmniScript.
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Omniscript development
Experience with complex Salesforce API integration for applications residing on various platforms. Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware, and other integration tools.
Implemented Async processing solutions with Platform events, Async Apex, Queueable Apex, CDC, Lightning Message Service etc.
Extensive understanding of Salesforce Experience Cloud (Communities) development and customization.
Experience with OmniStudio deployment tools such as IDX Workbench, Vlocity Build Tool (VBT), and Salesforce CLI.
Collaborate with junior developers to perform code reviews and provide feedback.
Create and maintain technical documentation including process documentation, naming and commenting conventions and Salesforce policies/procedures.
Mentor and provide guidance to the development team members.
Platform Developer I, II & Omnistudio Developer Certification is must

Preferred Skills:
Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD)
Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint
Experience with SFDC specific IDE and version control configurations (Github, BitBucket) for Salesforce development (VS Code, IntelliJ, SFDX)
Experience with accessibility laws and WCAG 2.1 compliance.
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn plus Excellent written/verbal communication & documentation skills.
Experience related to K-12 education/curriculum standards would be a plus.
