Job description

Salesforce Developer, Lead

Responsibilities

As a Salesforce developer, you will work closely with other developers, product owners, test engineers, and architects to ensure the timely and effective delivery of Salesforce requirements across various industry contexts. You will engage in all aspects of the Salesforce development lifecycle, including configuration, customization, implementation of applications, and 3rd‑party integrations. You will serve as an advisor to our clients, providing guidance on adopting new technologies and adding features to support mission objectives. From day one you will apply extensive experience developing on the Salesforce platform following best practices, utilizing declarative capabilities where appropriate, writing clean and maintainable Apex code while respecting governor limits, and working with Lightning Web Components and other web development technologies. You will mentor and grow junior team members while advising government clients on optimal modernization strategies for their existing systems.

Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience with Salesforce platform development, including Apex, JavaScript, Visualforce pages, Aura Components, or Lightning Web Components
  • 4+ years of experience with software engineering or software development
  • Experience with committing code and metadata to git repositories
  • Knowledge of the Salesforce development lifecycle
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Ability to speak and write English fluently
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
Nice to Have
  • Experience with federal government or healthcare IT
  • Experience with Salesforce DevOps technologies and tools, including GitHub, Copado, Salesforce DX, and Flosum
  • Experience with Java, Python, C#, Kotlin, C/C++, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL

Compensation

The projected compensation range for this position is $112,900.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by factors including location, education, experience, and contract requirements.
