JOB SUMMARY:
The CRM Business Analyst Intern will work as part of the skilled and passionate Textron Aviation CRM Team delivering business solutions that enable the global sales, support, and marketing teams. At Textron Aviation, we put people at the heart of everything that we do, and our team leverages the Salesforce platform to create an exceptional customer and employee experience. The position's primary role will be to leverage Salesforce to solve business problems through database design and automation tools.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work on project teams to enhance existing Salesforce functionality, deliver new features, and improve user experience.
  • Automate business processes using either the Salesforce UI or code.
  • Build applications on the Salesforce platform using database design best practices and automation tools.
  • Develop reports and dashboards in Salesforce to support business objectives.
  • Document business processes through process mapping.
  • Build, test, and deploy code within the Salesforce platform .
  • Collaborate with other developers for brainstorming and writing code .

EDUCATION:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in:
  • Management Information Systems
  • Computer Science
  • Engineer
  • Other related technical field

EXPERIENCE:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM solutions preferred
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Experience with an object-oriented programming language preferred
  • Understanding of relational databases and using SQL to create complex data sets
  • Ability to identify relevant information and explain technical information to a broad audience

Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.
Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late-May to early-August lasting 10 weeks.
Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
