Job Description:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Objective:
  • Creating solutions by designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce customizations, including Apex classes, Aura Components, Lightning Pages, custom objects
  • Participate in the entire software development life cycle, including requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment
  • Supporting, maintaining, and improving existing Salesforce customizations for optimal functionality
  • Creating brand new Salesforce solutions as team needs change in our fast-paced environment
  • Creating and maintaining integrations with other applications and systems using web services and APIs
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and other developers to identify and implement improvements for the system
  • Ensuring compliance with security and development standards of Salesforce

Your Tasks:
  • Develop and maintain custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components and other technologies
  • Create technical documentation for the company, like user guides, release notes and design documents
  • Work collaboratively with technical teams to collect and document requirements for Salesforce solutions
  • Identify and trouble shoot issues related to Salesforce integrations, customizations, flows, and custom code
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure that the best practices for the existing and Salesforce solution are implemented
  • Stay up-to-date with new Salesforce features & functionalities and recommend best practices to enhance the existing Salesforce implementations

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer Science or a related field
  • 3-5 years of demonstrable experience in software development
  • Proficient understanding of Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects, relationships, and fields, as well as custom code including Apex Classes, Visualforce Pages, Lightning Components, etc.
  • Experience with Web APIs, REST, JSON, Web Sockets, and other web technologies
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Salesforce certifications, like Platform Developer I or II, App Builder or Administrator
  • Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
  • Ability to work with Salesforce Community Cloud or other collaboration tools
  • Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) processes
