Job description

The Salesforce Business Analyst will serve as the global Salesforce CRM business owner, supporting our day-to-day operations of our rapidly growing and agile commercial unit. In this role, you will partner with Sales Leadership and IT team to design, improve, and implement system enhancements that support commercial strategy. The Salesforce Business Analyst will Lead CRM training, communication and adoption efforts including activity tracking and funnel management, ensuring strong alignment with regional leaders and driving accountability within the Salesforce environment. Continuous updates to improve the user experience, based on feedback provided is a critical success factor for this role. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. 
 

  • System Ownership and Integration
    1. Collaborate with Manager, Global CRM Programs, on the ownership and usability of Salesforce CRM.
    2. Responsible for gathering business requirements and serve as the liaison between Sales, Sales Operations and IT to shape scalable CRM and other salesforce solutions.
    3. Work with each sales leader to manage opportunity details and accurately for critical reporting of forecasts.
    4. Creation of activity dashboards providing attainment snapshots specific to each sales representative’s territories.
    5. Support deployment and integration of sales methodologies within Salesforce.com.
    6. Analyze CRM performance metrics, ensure data quality and usability, and recommend process improvements to enhance user experience and business outcomes.
    7. Participate in Agile sprints, define user stories, and manage documentation, testing, and on-time delivery of prioritized improvements.
    8. Collaborate with salesforce vendors to plan and implement approved programs
  • Cross functional Support for Reporting, Lead Tracking, Data Governance and Pricing Details
    1. Ensure data accuracy within the Salesforce environment which translates into accuracy in reporting forecast models, attainment efforts, and rep performance across all product lines.
    2. Prepares monthly KPI package/sales performance presentations based on the needs and requirements of senior leadership.
    3. Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Compensation Analyst and others to ensure accuracy of Territory alignment.
    4. Monitor and ensure accurate workflow management for customer accounts in an effort to maintain accuracy in data and pricing details within the CRM and ERP environments.
  • Serve as a Salesforce resource to the sales organization
    1. Provide user training as needed
    2. Assist with Opportunity workflow order creation
    3. Quote template management and maintenance including updating general terms and conditions as provided by Cytek Legal team
  • Generate reports/dashboards as required by the global commercial teams
  • Participate in process improvement projects as directed
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:  

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in related discipline
  • 3+ years of CRM experience; leading multiple projects of various scope/complexity from initiation to close out, with data quality as a focus
  • Exceptional data expertise in all aspects of data analysis, insights creation and visualization
  • Advanced skills in CRM and ERP systems
  • Strong flexibility to work with a variety of application development applications
  • Exceptional organizational skills, detail oriented, adaptive and strong client focused mindset
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage a variety of tasks with tight timelines
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, written, and oral communication skills
  • Comfortable navigating through ambiguity and crafting solutions without a defined guideline
  • Strong work ethic and highly developed problem-solving skills
  • Enjoy working under time constraints and ability to excel under pressure
  • Experience with global Sales and Operations
  • Ability to create repeatable models and train others on utilization
