TRANSACTION COORDINATOR
• Cascade Capital Group is a privately held healthcare real estate investment and management company, focused on maximizing the value of skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and post-acute care facilities. Launched in 2016 as an alternative to the typical REIT/Private Equity model seen in the skilled nursing industry, Cascade Capital utilizes its creativity to explore joint ventures, short and long-term management arrangements, lease-to-own operator agreements, and other collaborations to reposition assets and grow value. Most importantly, Cascade Capital seeks to empower its operator tenants through better aligning the capital structure of the facilities to allow operators the flexibility to improve facilities clinical, operational, and financial performance. Today, Cascade Capital is among the most active independent skilled nursing facility (SNF) investors with a track record of effective executions of complex transactions. Our interests span a full range of assets, including individual or multi-asset portfolios, stable and distressed facilities, and mixed or multi-state portfolios.
• Cascade Capital Group is looking to add a Transaction Coordinator to support acquisition and asset management teams. The role will be critical to grow Cascade's real estate portfolio by primarily coordinating all aspects of due diligence and improving internal processes. The ideal candidate must exhibit detailed project management and strong communication skills.
This role will report to the SVP of Underwriting and Acquisitions and will lead due diligence on respective assigned acquisitions and processes within Cascade's current real estate portfolio. The candidate will assist in compiling and reviewing documents, coordinate due diligence tours, track third-party vendors and maintain diligence requests and lists from various stakeholders through the deal process. This person will support the department as the lead point of contact with sellers, buyers and brokers to coordinate new acquisition, disposition and financing activity. This role will communicate with transactions and investment teams, asset management, debt capital markets, other functional internal teams, outside counsel, operating partners, lenders and others throughout the closing process.
Monthly Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate aspects of due diligence for new real estate acquisitions, dispositions, or debt capital market deals, and help compile, organize, and review all due diligence documents throughout the transaction process.
  • Request or coordinate scheduling third party inspections for acquisitions, dispositions, or lending inspections.
  • Coordination of third-party consultant proposals, invoice management, and final reporting for acquisitions.
  • Review third party reports and help compile seller provided statements of operations through various PMS systems.
  • Assist with compiling service contracts and review for accuracy.
  • Maintain transaction timelines and statuses in company reports.
  • Perform targeted projects, assist on implementing or maintaining current systems and processes.
  • Minimal travel required. This is an in-office position. Cascade is head quartered in Skokie, IL.

Skills Required:
  • 1-3 years of relevant real estate experience (asset management, operations, transactions, or acquisitions)
  • Passion for real estate and investing and interest in learning more about real estate operations.
