JOB SUMMARY

Call on assigned retail accounts while checking product freshness and proper rotation. Build lasting relationships with our customers, accomplish preset account objectives, merchandise accounts with quality and current point-of-sale. Meet standards set forth by Area Sales Leader.



Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute programs to drive key supplier sales objectives
  • Assist Sales Professionals with display builds, ensuring displays are positioned in an impactful location. Said displays should be priced correctly and should utilize the most current point-of-sale
  • Be knowledgeable of current sales goals in order to assist Sales Professionals with opportunity identification
  • Assist Sales and Operations team members with product delivery
  • Maintain retail call frequency as required
  • Pre-work daily to prepare for next day callsBe prepared daily with correct merchandise to keep accounts up to date
  • Audit accounts during sales calls to ensure neon's and other permanent point-of-sale is up to HDC standards
  • Monitor quality control standards (product freshness, finished product loss)
  • Develop Sales Support Route; including performance, customer relations and route efficiency
  • Assist in sales route coverage during period of vacation
  • Respond, investigate and resolve retailer questions and concerns
  • Ensure compliance with all legal guidelines, company and supplier standards and policies
  • Participate in a team environment of fearless feedback and total transparency.


QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma/GED required
  • Have a valid Driver's License and must be 21 years of age
  • Required to drive to multiple locations and maintain sufficient insurance. Must abide by all traffic and motor vehicle laws and regulations
  • Beverage and consumer product sales experience a plus
  • Must learn specific computer programs, Microsoft Office preferred
  • Very outgoing along with strong self-direction
  • Work with minimal supervision, ability to set priorities and multitask


WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Must be able to work flexible hours through the week and, sometimes weekends
  • Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions and wide temperature variations
  • Week before and, during National Holidays are a must to work
  • Must be able to lift 35lbs. minimum and climb ladders while working safely
  • Able to maneuver floor jacks in large box stores
  • Rotate up to 100 cases of beer/wine a day and build multi case/bottle displays
  • Dress code is business casual; closed-toe shoes are suggested (mandatory in the warehouse environment). Other restrictions may apply
  • While performing the duties of this job, employee is required to stand; balance; climb stairs; sit; use hands to feel and handle objects, tools or controls, including standard office equipment such as computers, keyboards and phones; reach with hands and arms; talk; hear; and have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception; and have the ability to focus, process and communicate information


SCHEDULE

  • Monday - Friday, occasional weekends 
  • 8AM - 5PM
