Federal Equipment Company (FEC), a Fairbanks Morse Defense company, is looking for a Sales Manager to lead and elevate our sales organization in Cincinnati, Ohio.
This is an opportunity for an experienced sales professional to take ownership of a sales system, establish strong processes and KPIs, mentor a sales team, and build lasting relationships with key Navy accounts and Industrial clients.

The Sales Manager will provide sales leadership and strategic direction while building a robust sales system focused on strong processes, standard work, data analytics, and KPIs.
This leader will be responsible for developing the sales team, strengthening key customer and sales representative relationships, identifying market opportunities, and driving sales performance.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Implement a robust sales system with strong processes, standard work, data analytics and KPIs.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the sales team to drive performance and achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback as well as clarity on job responsibilities to team members.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key Navy accounts and Industrial clients, including a Sales Representative Network.
  • Research market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 10 years of relevant business background including sales, marketing, or product management.
  • 5 years' minimum experience in Sales Management or Regional Sales Management.
  • A strong understanding of the market, products, service offerings and customer base or the ability to quickly learn.
  • Experience in development, implementation and execution of a sales strategy and system.
  • Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with customers, employees and sales representatives.
  • Very Proficient in Microsoft Office Products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - active listener, clear and concise communicator (both oral and written); proven collaboration skills.
