Job Description Customer Service Representative / Account Manager Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office | 8-5 Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in Cincinnati, Ohio that's expanding its Shared Services team. Position Overview We are seeking an Customer Service Representative / Account Manager to support customers throughout the sales process while partnering closely with Outside Sales Representatives. This role combines customer service, account management, order support, quoting, and business development in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, and comfortable building customer relationships while identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new business. Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for customers by phone and email regarding products, services, orders, and customer concerns. Prepare accurate customer quotations and provide detailed follow-up on outstanding quotes.

Enter customer orders accurately and verify pricing, charges, and order details. Provide customers with ongoing order updates and resolve questions or issues throughout the sales process. Partner closely with Outside Sales Representatives by providing quote updates, backorder reports, collection information, and account updates.

Identify opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and generate organic growth within existing accounts. Develop new customer leads and maintain accurate customer information within the database. Maintain monthly forecasts by product line.

Monitor 60-day collection reports and assist with collection of past-due balances when needed. Respond to customer complaints and help identify appropriate solutions. Work with Sales leadership to identify process improvements that increase sales team efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Prepare sales and customer reports as needed. Provide consistent follow-up with both internal and external customers. Required Qualifications Associate degree preferred.

At least 1 year of sales experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Ability to identify sales opportunities and support account growth.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word. Strong organizational skills and consistent follow-through. Ability to solve customer problems professionally and efficiently.

Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with customers by phone. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a "make it happen" attitude. Preferred Qualifications Previous inside sales, account management, or customer service experience within manufacturing or industrial products.

Experience supporting Outside Sales Representatives. Experience with quoting, order entry, forecasting, and collections. AS400 experience is a plus.

Interview Process First interview: In-person with the Sales Manager Offer may follow the first interview, or a second interview may be scheduled if needed. Interviews are being scheduled quickly, with the goal of having new hires start by the second week of September to allow for training and knowledge transfer. Ideal Candidate Profile The strongest candidate will be a customer-focused inside sales professional who can do more than simply process orders.

They should be comfortable managing accounts, following up on quotes, supporting outside sales, identifying additional sales opportunities, and staying on top of numerous customer needs at once.
