Role and Responsibilities
The Customer Service Associate provides support to customers and the sales team by preparing accurate quotes, processing orders, and maintaining customer records. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment within the LED lighting industry.
Essential Functions
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Act as a primary point of contact for customers and ensure requests are fulfilled.
· Quote new projects and provide basic technical support to customers in need of pricing assistance.
· Answer and directing phone calls in a timely manner.
· Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email and phone regarding products, pricing, and availability.
· Prepare and issue detailed customer quotations for LED lighting products in a timely manner.
· Accurately enter and update quotes, orders, and customer information into the company ERP system.
· Coordinate with the sales, purchasing, engineering, and warehouse teams to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery.
· Track and follow up on open quotes and provide status updates to customers and sales representatives.
· Maintain organized electronic and physical records of quotes, orders, and correspondence.
· Assist with resolving customer issues, returns, or discrepancies in coordination with the appropriate departments.
· Ensure all documentation and communications meet company quality standards.
Requirements:Qualifications and Education Requirements
· 3 Plus years of Customer Service experience.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office. Must be a competent user of Excel.
· Preferred experience with ERP systems.
· Good oral and written communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive situations.
· Type 45 plus words per minute.
· Proficient with 10 key.
