Job description

HIRING FOR SENIOR ESTIMATOR


We are a specialty contractor serving the construction industry. We are located in Noblesville, Indiana and we serve most of the state of Indiana, part of western Ohio and part of northern Kentucky. Our primary focus is to provide land clearing services for construction projects, but we also manage a recycling and mulch center in Noblesville that allows for all materials coming from our jobsites to be repurposed.


ROLE DESCRIPTION This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Manager | Senior Estimator located in Noblesville, IN. The position will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates by analyzing project plans and specifications. Daily tasks include conducting site visits, collaborating with sales, project managers, and field staff to gather information for accurate estimations and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers. The Senior Estimator will also be responsible for maintaining updated records and ensuring all estimates are completed within the specified deadlines.


QUALIFICATIONS


  • Experience in preparing detailed cost estimates and analyzing project plans
  •  Strong proficiency in using estimation software and tools
  •  Excellent negotiation skills with subcontractors and suppliers
  •  Effective collaboration and communication skills with sales, project managers, and field staff
  •  Ability to conduct site visits and gather necessary information for accurate estimations
  •  Strong organizational skills to maintain updated records and meet deadlines - Familiarity with the forestry services industry is a plus
  •  Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
