Showroom Sales & Project Coordinator (Sales + Project Coordination)

Company: Timber Ridge Fireplace
Location: 3080 N Fairfield Road, Ste. 1, Layton, UT 84041
Schedule: Full-time on-site, some Saturdays
Reports to: General Manager

About Timber Ridge Fireplace

Timber Ridge Fireplace is a locally owned hearth showroom serving homeowners, builders, and designers across the Wasatch Front. We design, sell, and manage installations of gas, wood, and electric fireplaces, inserts, stoves, and custom mantels and surrounds. Our team values craftsmanship, safety, and a great customer experience from the first showroom visit to the final walkthrough.

The Role

The Showroom Manager leads day-to-day showroom operations while driving sales and managing projects from estimate to installation. You will own the customer journey, coordinate with installers and vendors, and keep projects moving on time and on budget. Ideally this role will evolve in to Management and Business Development.


What You’ll Do

Sales Leadership

  • Greet and consult with walk-in clients, builders, and designers. Qualify needs and recommend solutions.
  • Build quotes, close sales, and maintain healthy pipeline coverage in the CRM.

Project Management

  • Schedule site visits and installations. Coordinate with subcontractors and in-house technicians.
  • Order products and materials. Track lead times. Manage change orders.
  • Ensure jobs meet code requirements and manufacturer specifications.
  • Communicate proactively with customers from deposit to final sign-off.

Operations

  • Keep the showroom presentation-ready, including product displays and merchandising.
  • Monitor KPIs, inventory, and work-in-progress. Escalate risks early.
  • Maintain orderly documentation
  • Support marketing activities such as events, promotions, and social content.

You’ll Thrive Here If You Have

  • Three or more years in retail sales, design-build, construction supply, or home improvement showrooms.
  • One to three years of project coordination or project management experience.
  • Strong business acumen with comfort owning a sales target and gross margin goals.
  • Excellent communication, follow-through, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with a CRM, estimating software, and basic spreadsheets.
  • Valid driver’s license

Nice to Have

  • Hearth industry experience with gas, wood, electric, venting, or surrounds.

Compensation and Time Off
