As we continue to grow, we're looking for an Enrollment & Growth Specialist who will play a critical role in increasing athlete enrollment, expanding program participation, strengthening retention, building community awareness, and helping Cheer UP Athletics continue to grow its impact throughout the region.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Enrollment & Growth Specialist serves as a sales-minded growth professional, community ambassador, and relationship builder responsible for increasing athlete enrollment, expanding program participation, strengthening retention, and growing awareness of Cheer UP Athletics throughout the community.
This role is ideal for someone who is intrinsically motivated by growth and results. The successful candidate possesses a natural hunter mentality and does not wait for opportunities to come to them—they actively create them. They are energized by networking, building relationships, generating referrals, creating strategic partnerships, and finding innovative ways to introduce new families to Cheer UP Athletics.
The primary mission of this role is sustainable growth. This includes generating new enrollment opportunities, strengthening retention, increasing community awareness, expanding program participation, and creating positive experiences that encourage long-term family engagement. This individual will be responsible for helping expand the organization’s reach throughout the community while supporting meaningful experiences that contribute to long-term athlete and family involvement
Success in this role comes from a combination of sales ability, relationship building, community engagement, and genuine passion for helping athletes and families find a place where they can thrive. The ideal candidate understands that growth and retention work hand-in-hand—bringing new families into the program while creating experiences that encourage long-term participation and loyalty.
This individual will serve as a community ambassador, enrollment specialist, and growth champion who helps drive awareness, participation, enrollment, and retention throughout the organization.
The successful candidate is proactive, relationship-oriented, and motivated by growth. They do not wait for opportunities to come to them—they actively create them through networking, community engagement, referrals, exceptional family experiences, and meaningful relationship building. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
ENROLLMENT, SALES & GROWTH
  • Drive athlete enrollment across all Cheer UP programs through proactive outreach, relationship building, and consistent follow-up.
  • Conduct facility tours, program consultations, and enrollment conversations with prospective athletes and families.
  • Convert inquiries, leads, and referrals into active program participants.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase program participation and enrollment growth.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities to introduce Cheer UP Athletics to prospective families within the community.
  • Build referral relationships that generate new enrollment opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of lead activity, enrollment conversations, and growth initiatives.
  • Monitor enrollment trends and recommend strategies to improve conversion rates and participation levels.
  • Consistently work toward enrollment, participation, and growth goals.
RETENTION & FAMILY ENGAGEMENT
  • Build meaningful relationships with athletes and families.
  • Maintain regular communication with current members.
  • Support retention initiatives and athlete re-engagement efforts.
  • Proactively identify and address concerns that may impact participation.
  • Help families stay informed about programs, events, and opportunities.
  • Create positive experiences that encourage long-term participation and loyalty.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, COMMUNITY OUTREACH & RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
  • Serve as a visible ambassador for Cheer UP Athletics throughout the community.
  • Build and maintain relationships with schools, youth organizations, local businesses, recreation programs, and community groups.
  • Participate in networking organizations, referral groups, Chambers of Commerce, community organizations, and local business groups as a means of generating awareness and enrollment opportunities.
  • Participate in networking events, community functions, open houses, showcases, and promotional activities to increase awareness and enrollment opportunities.
  • Develop strategic referral partnerships that support both athlete enrollment and long-term community engagement
  • Create and execute outreach initiatives designed to introduce new families to Cheer UP Athletics.
  • Support community engagement efforts that strengthen the Cheer UP brand and increase participation across programs.
  • Build genuine relationships with athletes, families, and community partners that contribute to long-term growth and retention.
  • Identify creative opportunities to expand Cheer UP Athletics' visibility and presence within the local market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with networking organizations, referral groups, schools, local businesses, community leaders, and youth organizations to create ongoing enrollment opportunities and increase awareness of Cheer UP Athletics.

SCHEDULE EXPECTATIONS
Monday – Thursday: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Sunday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
While the majority of athlete and family interactions occur during the listed hours, candidates should understand that this is fundamentally a growth-focused position. Networking events, community outreach, relationship-building efforts, referral development, and lead generation activities may occasionally occur outside of normal operating hours. The successful candidate is comfortable engaging with the community whenever opportunities arise to increase awareness, participation, and enrollment.

Employment Type: Full-Time - Please note the total on-site hours total 30 hours/week.
Reports To: Program Leadership Team
Compensation: $40,000/year + a healthy commssion structure
